My experience with Galilaya Expeditions was disappointing. I booked this tour last year based on the excellent communication I received at the time, as well as the competitive price compared to other quotes I had received. Emiliana was extremely prompt and responsive answering my emails, which gave me confidence in choosing this company. Unfortunately, the experience once the trip began did not meet those expectations. The hotel we stayed in Arusha for two nights, before and after the safari, was well below an acceptable standard. I advised Galilaya about our poor experience, including the noisy room, awful food, and the run-down condition of the room, but nothing was done to address these issues or improve our stay. On the first day, Emiliana returned to the hotel to collect the outstanding balance. Unfortunately, the only information she provided was to " make sure you tip ". There was no useful briefing about the trip, nor any practical information such as whether we needed to pack a towel or toiletries for showers while camping, what to expect during the safari, or what we should be prepared for. Given how responsive and helpful the communication had been during the booking process, I was particularly disappointed by the lack of communication and support once the trip actually started. The main and the only positive aspect of the trip was our driver, Jordan from Suricata Safari, ( not Galilaya )  to whom we are very grateful. I had an amazing 3-day safari with Galilaya Expedition, visiting Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organized, from the transportation and accommodation to the delicious food. Our guide and driver were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Excellent Safaris Experience I did a 4 day Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Nationalparks . The tour was very well organized. The driver and guide was nice and explained a lot. ⁠5-Day Family Safari An unforgettable family adventure! We had an amazing 5-day safari with the whole family. Everything was well organized, from transportation and accommodation to the game drives. We saw incredible wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and many more.
